Loni currently specializes in consultation for individuals seeking EMDRIA certification and addressing general EMDR therapy practice issues. Additionally, Loni integrates expressive art therapies and sandtray therapy into EMDR therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Loni specializes in supporting individuals who are struggling with grief and loss, ambiguous loss, chronic illness and medical issues (including cancer), trauma and stress related issues, anxiety, depression, and spiritual and identity concerns.
As a consultant in training, Loni works with consultants and mentors who have high standards for integrity and fidelity in the EMDR model. As part of the consultation in training process, she meets with consultants for group and individual consultation on a regularly scheduled basis. Additionally, Loni is expected to stay up to date on the current research related to EMDR and implementing the standard EMDR therapy protocol, which she does by attending various trainings and continuing education throughout the year.
Consultation is offered in both one-on-one and in group settings. Currently all consultation is held virtually.
What is EMDR Consultation?
EMDR consultation focuses on supporting the EMDR trained therapist in integrating the EMDR standard protocol into their practice. Consultation for EMDR Therapy provides you an opportunity to not only connect with other EMDR therapists, but will help you with your training process, fine tune your skills, gain support, confidence, and grow professionally within the EMDR model. During the consultation process, you will have opportunities to discuss your cases and share your experiences, and give you a deeper understanding of how to implement and practice.
Consultation is available for individuals looking for additional support utilizing EMDR in their current practice AND for Consultation for Certification.
Please note: EMDR Basic Training (Level I and II) must be completed prior to beginning on your EMDR certification journey. EMDR Certification requires additional hours of training and consultation beyond the EMDR Basic Training.
$75.00/ hour for individual
$50/hour for groups please note groups are generally 1.5-2 hours**
*If you would like to pursue individual consultation for certification purposes, I require a minimum of 5 individual session OR enrollment in one of my consultation groups in conjunction with individual consultation prior to writing a letter of recommendation*
It is important to understand that EMDR consultation is not supervision.

As an EMDR Consultant in Training I can provide 10 Hours of group consultation and 5 hours of individual consultation towards EMDRIA certification.
